About Jill Huber
Clinical Psychology in Malmesbury, Wiltshire
My name is Jill Huber. I am a Clinical Psychologist, and I provide a private and independent psychology service for adults who are facing a wide range of life issues and mental health problems. My work is focused on helping people to understand the nature of their problems, and then learn better ways of coping. This empowers them to handle challenging thoughts and feelings more effectively and to work towards building a rich and meaningful life.
My Experience
My training and extensive experience as a Clinical Psychologist qualifies me to draw on a range of psychological models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). My experience of these and other models enables me to provide an integrative approach that is tailored to the needs of the person I am working with.
I have worked as a Clinical Psychologist for over 25 years in both the NHS and in private practice. My private practice experience has included working in a GP surgery, as well as co-founding and directing an independent psychology service.
I am registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
